Picked up an old pro melt that needed a few parts. Luckily, RCBS had them and shipped them to me. Turned it on to see if it worked and came up to temp just fine. Thermostat is within 10 degrees too.
My other pro melt has a date made sticker on the front, the old one doesn't have a date on it and the paint is lighter in color. Any idea when RCBS changed from I guess the old color to the new one?
My Pro melt is black,made by Ohio Thermal. They sold the rights to RCBS to mfg it. I have only replaced the off/on switch since I bought it used many years ago.
Any chance you can post a picture of it?
