Lee 12 cavity round ball molds, any good?

I was thinking about a higher production mold for round balls and stumbled across the 12 cavity round ball molds from Lee. Looking at the design, I have to wonder how well these work. The top ball would probably have two sprues, and I suspect temperature regulation of the mold would be challenging. Anyone have one of these? Do they produce quality round balls? Or would a 6 banger from Track of the Wolf be a better idea?

What caliber are they? If buckshot, how can you go wrong?

    Following with interest.
I've been looking at those and wondering the same thing. The GF and I go through a lot of balls in a season.

They are similar to most buckshot molds but .490"

Just went through the learning curve on a 000 buckshot LEE mold. Information is here:

I tried one of the 00 buckshot molds. With COWW I could never get all 12 cavities to fill out completely. Frustrating.

Gave the mold to a guy who wanted to make split shot for fishing sinkers. That's all it's good for IMHO.

This would be for .490 balls for muzzleloading. Sounds like I would be better off with a 6 banger from track of the wolf.
