    Large Loop Winchester 1886... 90% DONE!

    Iv'e been posting on here trying to gain alittle knowledge about repro levers because I wanted to make a big loop for my rifle. I always wanted one, they are really useful in the cold, with gloves or to just get a good grip on the lever. Thanks to you guys, I was able to get the knowledge I wanted and buy a repro lever.
    After spending a few hours in the garage... here is the result. Pretty much what I wanted!

    No worries: All original factory parts were saved and un-harmed!

    Still needs to be polished and buffed out in places.

    OK, il try it out. I did light Coats of bluing for now just to turn it a dark grey.

    Thanks! It wasn't to hard. And the lever fit right into place.
