I did a stupid at the gun range the other day, while sighting in a rifle I took the turret caps off and left them on the bench. I lost one and looked for 30 minutes or better and could not be found. I emailed Nikon and with in a week they sent me a new one. I was quite surprised. thanks Nikon.

Glad to hear. If I remove my caps, I always put them in my pocket right away. Now the choke wrench I got with my new barrel I lost on my first trip out. I heard it bouncing down the road and asked what was that? I figured it out when I got home.

Nikon has Excellent customer service. I called them up about a year ago and asked if I could buy the Safari caps with the gold colored water buffalo on them to put on one if optics. They sent me two at no charge.

speaking of their excellent service, I have a pair of monarch 10 x 42s and the eyecups are less than stellar. One broke. After the season I wrote to them. They turned the binos around in less than 2 weeks, to include shipping. The binocular was spotless and perfect.
