winchester 94 sight question

Afternoon, is there a stock height for a Winchester 1894 (30-30) front sight post???? Anyone got one floating around they want to part with? looking for front and rear sights for the win 94.....id rather pay one of yall for a used one that's been floating around a parts box for a decade then getting a new one....

I see different heights for front sights and really don't want to play the guessing game.

No guessing game will be needed, if you're up to a little measuring...………………..

To determine the needed front sight height, you need to first determine the height of the rear sight above the bore C/L:

1) Place the rear sight elevation in the center of it's up/down adjustment.
2) Measure the barrel OD at the rear sight dovetail (side-to-side is OK) & write it down
3) Measure the height of the rear sighting notch above the barrel surface & write it down
4) Add #3 (above) to half of measurement #2 (above) - the result will be the existing rear sight height above the bore C/L.

5) Measure the barrel OD at the front sight dovetail & write it down
6) Divide measurement #5 (above) in half & add it to the result of #4 (above)

The end result should be the correct front sight height.
