Henry side gate rifle

I'm wondering if anyone has a henry side gate and what they think of it? I've been using a marlin GBL for years, and love it but... it has some bad habits. I'd always written off the Henry cause I'm a side gate snob amongst other things. So here are some of my questions...

I really like the GBL and I've installed a ghost ring and a Picatinny rail on it. Is it possible to do this with the Henry? Is there any rumours as to new models of sidegate? A case colour hardened version with a shorter barrel and ghost ring/Picatinny would really make me look very, very seriously...

They need to do them on more models; the lack of them is the may thing that pushes me away from Henry
