Of all the guns I owned in the past, I miss my stainless 445 SM Dan Wesson the most.
I love the DWs. Traded into my first one, a model 15 back in '93. It came with a 6" and a 2 1/2" barrel in great condition. Traded a S&W Model 19 for it. Still have it and it is a pleasure to shoot. More recently, picked up a 744 with a 6" ported barrel. First thing I did was contact DW and ordered a new, non-ported barrel for shooing cast and fit it with Hogue mono-grip. That thing loves the NOE version of the Keith boolit and is a lot easier on the recoil than I remember the .44's being.
I am hoping to some day find another in .45 Colt and one in .41 Mag for my collection.
