    Thank you Ben!

I made a batch of Ben's Liquid Lube today, and am going to make 4 pounds of Ben's Red in the morning. That should keep me in lube for a loooonnnnnggggg time.

Bens Red is good lube. Its the second lube i made. A few pounds will last a while and it served me well in riffles until i moved to soap lubes.

You know you can take a pea or bean sized chunk of Bens Red, drop it into 50 bullets still warm from casting. Tumble it till most of the lube is in the grooves. Follow with 2 light coats of BLL. You have a rifle bullet with lube to take a real push, that is non sticky, easy to load, and the the lube won't move in high heat. BLL locks it into place.

Kind of the best of both worlds.

Hi Ghosthawk: I aim to size and lube my boolits with Ben's Red, then tumble them in BLL. Will then seal them in good airtight containers for future use. Winter is long and the weather usually does not cooperate with my plan to spend most of every day outdoors. Figure to cast in the winter and shoot in the other three seasons, that way I won't be indoors when it is nice out.

    Not a bad plan.
