I have a Mosin Nagant M44 that I'm cleaning the cosmoline and related gunk off and it looks like the threads on the cleaning rod are a little buggered up. Does anyone by chance know what size threads are on the end. I don't want to force the rod in. I guess it might be metric but I've guessed wrong before.
