    How 'bout them 'Stros...

The little big man did it again, bottom of the 9th walk-off 2-run homer against one of the best closer in AL. Altuve punched a World Series ticket for the Astros, their 2nd in 3 years. As humble as he is, its nice to see a professional player thank God before anything else & share his heroics to his teammates...

    Hi...
The good thing about that is that the hated Yankees will not be going to the World Series.

Nothing makes me happier in the world of sports than to see the Yankees walk off the field brokenhearted.

Watched every game so far. Altuve reminds me of Pete Rose minus the gambling. Always in the middle of things making it happen? Cole is a monster! The Nats remember how to play small ball instead of relying on 3 run homers. Gonna be a great series!

It seems that the announcers are unable to conceive that the yankees may not be universally loved. Go Nats.

Firmly convinced that the networks and MLB want the Yankees in the World Series every year because of advertising dollars and ratings points. I have never seen them over hype any other team so much except the way they try to shove the Dallas Cowboys down everybody's throat during football season.
Makes me happy to see their nefarious plans collapse like a house of cards.

Great to see a team make it for the first time to the big dance! It should be a great series!

    Hi...
Looking forward to Game #7 tonight.
Hoping for an Astros victory but it will be tough with Scherzer pitching for Washington.

Be interesting to see who elects to enter the free agent sweepstakes in the off season.
For certain there will be big changes on the rosters, not just for Houston and Washington, but all across baseball particularly with the active rosters being expanded to 26 players next year.

Been watching the Astros since they were the Colt .45s going to games in the open air stadium before the Astrodome was built. Really hoping that they can pull the win off.

Wearing my "Good Luck " Astro's Tee shirt .
When the Astrodome was first built Daddy , mom me and brother drove from Baton Rouge Louisiana to see a double header , summer of 1966 , in the 8th Wonder Of The World , took the Astrodome guided tour and everything , it was awesome .
The thing I remember most is the Dome was sitting in the middle of nowhere , just big open spaces with no other buildings around it...a big open cow pasture ! That didn't last long !
    53 years a fan...my how time flies.
Good Luck Boy's I'm pulling for you as always !

They played well, just left too many stranded on base.

It will be an interesting spring as these two team share a spring training center. I don't think Turner will get over his base running call easily. I liked the outcome but the Astros played very well.

While neither team was my favorite (won't say which is because it would give rockrat apoplexy.......) I enjoyed the series. Both played some really good baseball. Astros just couldn't get their bats working at home and, as mentioned, left too many on. Got to admit them National's played to win.......
