    ? About Glock Gen 5 build up with PC

    Anyone else seeing build up in their Gen 5 barrel crowns? I’m shooting Smoke’s PC’d pills through my Glocks and I am getting a LOT of crusty build up in the machined groove in my Gen 5 muzzle crown. I don’t have this issue in KKM barrels or Gen 4 barrels.

    I get a little star on the muzzle of my Springfield 1911/9. No build up in the barrel anywhere though. I use a few diff powders from Smoke.
    EVERY GOOD SHOOTER NEEDS TO BE A HANDLOADER.

    There is a 90* right angle recessed rim on Gen 5 barrel muzzles. It’s not the typical 11* tapered chamfer you see on many barrels. The recess gets loaded quickly with crusty gunk.
