Ya done good, and saved it all from going to the dump.

As much as I like seeing stuff get back into circulation by folks who will use and appreciate it--
It's a little depressing to think that most of my casting & reloading gear will end up going at a fraction of it's value like that too.

I thought I did good with 34.8lbs of pewter at an estate sale. I think the amount any way. it was 47.00.

I don't care what my stuff sells for after I'm gone. I got my use out of it.

Wow, good purchase ! I think you got low price of the year.

I never seem to find any reloading equipment or parts at garage or estate sales.

OK. But I'll be putting off shipping it as long as I can.

What a deal! Nothing like being in the right place at the right time. Most of the sales around here are most household fixins and clothing.

I'm sure the departed father/father-in-law would have wanted a better price, but still would be glad to know that the stuff went to a caster rather than the dump.

If I have the grace to know when I might be moving on, I'll try to plan ahead so that such items in my estate will be properly valued and/or distributed the way I want.

Great find, estate sales are one of the best places to find
great loading tools, since the operators have no knowledge
of reloading. You just have to know more than everyone else.

I once seen a guy pay copper price for a box of spent shotgun
primers thinking he could melt them down.

The person that used that casting stuff will appreciate that it was repurposed by someone who will treasure it no matter the price.

I recently scored about 800+ lbs of lead for 15 cents a lb as well as solder bars thrown in from an estate that had his own fishing jig business. Also scored jugs of powder coating super cheap as well. Yeah you can really do good at estate sales.

Props to you, very cool (I gotta admit, I don't think I could bring myself to sell all my molds, even if I were to be sitting on ten years' supply of everything I shoot).

Same here I never see any reloading or casting equipment or components. It's all kids clothes, furniture and womens clothes. However, my wife has already asked me to list the value of each piece of equipment and all of my components. She's already got plans, I told my brother; if they find me chopped up in the freezer don't believe the suicide note.

I scored about ten years ago landing a collection of old Herters brand reloading tools. Made a small fortune on EBay. Can’t recall the exact numbers but for the old large shell holders and big egos. The price alone for the 410 shot shell holder nearly covered the investment. Also scored big on the old seating dies with the window.

I got this today from a bait and tackle shop that closed. It was in a closet and they forgot it was even there. I maybe the first to use it.

That's beautiful! I've never seen a pic of one in that condition.
