Finned setstroyek M91 mosin nagant. Gave it to dad for father's day. Paid 75 bucks, haven't seen one in similar condition for under 500-600. Worth it though, he loves it.

Many years ago, because I wasn't using it much, I sold my Colt National Match (pre Gold Cup), and got full retail book price. A few years later, the world discovered that exact model was made for a limited time and numbers. It was then worth almost 10X what I sold mine for. :<(
I haven't sold a gun since, unless to a family member.

Remington SPS 300 Blackout, the rifle was poorly made the chamber was of centre I complained but was told it was within manufactures specs, it would not chamber factory rounds, I was told the same thing, all in all it was a lemon I will not buy a new Remington product again.

I've become interested in long range precision shooting (a very expensive sport!) so I've been selling off most of my marlins, just worked out a trade for my 336CB in 38-55. The 1893 is next!

I've only ever sold one gun and it was a Glock 22. The reason was that it was redundant. Only need a few .40S&W pistols, that one was one too many and I lost no money in the transaction.

A few years ago I culled the herd and sold 7 or 8 at a local auction. Did ok, made a little money. I don't remember all of them but there was a Stevens, I think Mod. 23, double 12 bore, a hacked up 1903 Mannlicher/Schoenauer, an 1899 Savage carbine in 303 Savage and I think it is a "Cross" Ithaca in 12 bore. All of them have since been replaced with a lot nicer rifles, drillings and a much better 1903 M/S.

K31, need the cash for an instrument rating. Actually had to cull quite a few over the last year for that reason (finishing up my CPL and getting my multi engine rating), another k31, two Hakims, two FN49's, a SVT-40, a Rasheed (still have an excellent shape one), and two K98k's. Need to sell a MAS36/51 also.

I bought them all knowing i'd have to sell most of them, I did buy 4 guns this year that aren't going anywhere, so yeah...

Wait upon further reflection I acutally bought 6. Huh. Ah well.

    Just sold a Winchester M94 in .25-35.
I've got a safe full of guns yet i tend to shoot the same 3 every week.
Then in quick succession a couple of my "one day i will own one" guns came on the market and i just had to buy now or miss out and wait for another eternity.
This meant my safe was beyond capacity and my finances stretched so i looked at what i had, decided on what i won't ever sell or still use regularly and those that I wouldn't miss if they were gone.
I advertised 10 guns. I don't intend to sell 10 but i'll see which ones will sell for a fair price until there's room in the safe for the newcomers and the finances are restored.

about 4 or 5 years i got rid of a 308 win in rem m760. it was accurate but unlucky. i shot a bear with it(396lbs) but after that, the 308 didn't shoot a deer or black bear(for years and years). every time we went to the woods, we came home empty. the next day, with another rifle, we killed deer. so i sold her.

Kel-tec PF9. Gun was still nice and tight. Just wasn't a pleasure for me to shoot with my arthritis. The fellow who bought it was very happy. His the slide was getting loose. Sold it yesterday.

Last sold was either a M64 short rifle in 30WCF or an AR lower. The lower was just gathering dust as I really just don’t find them interesting and I tripled my money on it. The M64 went to fund a Blaser competition shotgun for my son. Same story, It was a valuable rifle collecting dust because it just didn’t call to me. Substantial profit an it as well. I rarely sell guns that I have saught out, but some are bought as a “good deal” with the intention of using for “trade fodder”. Not to say I haven’t sold a few I shouldn’t have.

Marlin 336 30/30. One of the last JM Marlins made, beautiful checkered walnut stock, a very nice lightweight rifle. It shot nice groups, but I every time I loaded it I pinched my fingers on that dadgumed loading gate. Sold it a few months ago. Got a Henry. A bit heavier, different type of walnut but still nicely figured and pretty. Shoots every bit as good. I love it. Bring it on, I can take it.

The last gun I sold was a Dan Wesson 22 long rifle handgun with 4, 6 and 8" HV barrels.
    Reason for saleing it.
The threaded part of the frame where the barrel was attached was bored off center. So much so that a good friend of mine took lead in the cheek just below the eye. We went to the hospital, Police got involved, nothing became of it.
I sent the gun back to Dan Wesson with explanation and it returned 3 weeks later from Dan Wesson saying that it was within spec's.
So I sold it, it never shot very well anyway.

I just recently sold a Remington 700 Embellished rifle in 30-06 with the engraving and upgraded stock. I just could take it to the range or shoot it without maybe doing some damage to it, so it had to go. Sold it for a lot less than it was worth too. I am a shooter and if I can't shoot it, I don't need it. I am going to find me a Remington 721 in 30-06 and shoot the devil out of it. james

Been down-sizing some of my military bolt actions and lever action Winchesters and Marlins to concentrate on vintage single shot rifles (always been my main interest). Still working my way through my gun safes to determine how many more should go since many of them haven't been shot in years. If it's any consolation though I have bought several more single shot rifles recently ...

I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
