My standard load is a 183 (cast from wheelweight metal) LBT boolit pushed by 12 grains of something called "H108" which I bought a bunch of many years ago as a Hodgdon surplus powder. As you would suspect from the label it is somewhat faster than H110. I would guess my load would be pretty much duplicated by 13 grains of the H110, or maybe Lil' Gun. Hodgdon shows the 13 grains as being their "starting load" for H110. I load to a length of 1.64" for my gp100.

I never messed much with 180 grain besides an XTP. I liked 14 grains H110 with that and a CCI magnum primer. I preferred the Keith bullet, which runs just over 170 grains. I like 10 grains bluedot with a fed standard primer, but 15 grains H110 is a good load too.

I've shot the Saeco #354 180gr FPGC over 2400 or IMR4227 for a long time. Both powders need only std primers. And would knock over a Ram with a top quarter hit from a 10" T/C.

The IMR4227 Load is 14grs, a compressed load and just about MAXIMUM.
The 2400 load is now beyond printed Maximum, so I can't mention it. But check out the Lyman #4.
    I HATE auto-correct

Happiness is a Warm GUN & more ammo to shoot in it.

My Experience and My Opinion, are just that, Mine.

Mines is not a GP100, but luckily a bullet dont know what gun its shot from.

Blue Dot has been stellar for me and two 357Mag revolvers. A Colt Whitetailer and T/C Contender.

Best accuracy I have ever gotten from that Colt. I have owned it since new.

My GP likes the 180 NOE WFN GC - .358 cast from 50/50 pure & COWW watercooled over 13.8 gr of H110 lite with a CCI mag . 12.6 AA #9 shoots well also , these are from Lyman cast book 4.

I like a 180 WFN with 13.5 gr/ 296 and a mag primer. Chrono reads 1240 fps out of my 6" GP100 and is very accurate.

Working from memory, I ran 180gr XTPs with 13gr H110. I sold my GP100 to a friend a few years ago (after more than 10 years of ownership). He still has it and some of those loads.
