Hello everyone I’m new here and finally got some time to post. I just ordered a custom lee sizer and was surprised that they didn’t make one for 6.5s. There are several Moulds out there for a 6.5 gas check bullet. I had to get one .268 since both my 96s slugged out .267. It is going to take 6-8 weeksI guess I’ll still have time to get ready all winter for the Military cast bullet match my club puts on in the spring.

I have ordered custom sizers. A 266 and 268 (which I honed to 269), and a 270.

The best thing I found for sizing dies was the NOE set up. I'm in the process of deciding what mold to get (NOE or Lyman) for my Swede.
Odd thing... I spotted a 243 lee sizer and kept it in mind for years. Then I got a 6.5 jap and a 266469 mold and thought I needed a sizer for it to crimp on the gas checks mostly. I went back to that store and they still had the 243 sizer so I got it and a carbide drill bit because my steel bits would not cut the steel in the die. I ended up after a lot of messing around with a .268 sizer with a slightly out of round hole through it that works ok. But I would have been better off ordering one , sometimes I can't help doing things myself, even when I shouldn't.

Not trying to take away from the original post but with all this custom order talk. Has anyone here ever asked Lee to drill the neck out of a full length sizing die to make a body die like Redding sells?
