CZ75B in 40S&W, chance to buy one. Is it reasonable?

I found a CZ75B at a LGS in 40 S&W. It is one of the painted finish guns, includes 2 mags and 1 may be original. Fixed sights, does not look to be shot much. The ask is $425+tax. Is that a reasonable price? Could not find any 40's on Gun Broker and I am curious.

I read that they are great cast bullet guns and I cast all of my 40's

Can't speak fo r the .40 cal but I really like my CZ75 BD in 9mm. Once Doug throated the barrel it is an excellent shooter with boolits. Be aware that this is a full size steel frame pistol which is great for me but others may not like the size and weight.
Paper targets aren't your friends. They won't lie for you and they don't care if your feelings get hurt.

I love the size and weight, shoot lots of 1911's, EAA's and a DE. The pistol really feels good in the hand as well.

I had one of these pistols in 9mm, and given what I sold it for, the intervening time, and that (in my opinion) a .40 would be more desirable than a 9mm, I feel the price you mention isn't unreasonable. As a previous poster mentioned these are big bulky pistols. I feel their size is better suited to the .40 caliber round.

I used to have one of those and have only good things to say about it.

But I got rid of 40 altogether... too many calibers sort of piled up... had to choose. So I sold it and a couple of other 40s.

    Whenever I see one I remember the one I had,it was a good,accurate,solid gun.

Sounds like a fair price. CZ pistols are great!

Did I ever mention that I hate to trim brass?

I'd buy it at that price, were I to get involved with another caliber. I like CZ's. They are big and heavy, but reliable and accurate.
