    Gunshow gift from a friend

So we had our, twice a year, gunshow this weekend.
Picked up a book, two Lyman handles, a round tray Lee hand prime with a box of extra parts.
A Pacific shotgun press I have no idea what I'm going to do with.
A friend as been bringing a bunch of dies and molds to the last two shows.
I've bought a bunch of them, but got about all the ones I wanted.
Went buy his table before the start of Sunday's opening.
He said he was glad I came by.
He wanted to reduce his clutter, and said if I wanted everything that was left.
Offered to pay him something, but he insisted I just take it all.
I did tell him I owe him.
Haven't gotten a chance to look through it, but it's a lots of stuff.

The handled are attached to molds.
I bought most of the good handles at the last show.
Going to take me a little while to get through everything.

    Went through them.
    Nothing I can really use.
24 dies, trim dies, form dies, seater dies.
    2 Lee loaders
    26 Lee molds
    1 RCBS mold
    19 lyman molds
    2 H&G molds
    1 Ideal mold
2 no name molds. One looks looks a Saeco.
    Some die parts
A few Lee cast boolet sizers.
I think I got all the good stuff before this.
Not sure what I'm going to do with it all just yet.

Post some of it in swapping and selling. There's not much reloading stuff I need anymore, but I have come to like trim dies for my case trimming lately.

In SoCal our Gunshows are outrageous. We lost another one when San Diego County closed the Del Mar Gun show last year.
More Sellers, fewer shows, and the prices are going up. And there is more JUNK for Sale. Stuff in worse shape every show.

    It's worse then flea bay.

    Not surprising for kalafonia.
I'm surprised there are any gunshows at all.

Put the stuff up for trade and ask for what you want or sell and buy.

Good friend to front you all of that

The materials that were gifted to you include some really nice items. If you had already gathered the "good stuff" as you stated, that earlier purchase must have been magnificent. Congratulations on your gift! A gift card for the seller would be in appropriate. It is also interesting that there was no competition from other shoppers buying up these items. Interesting, also sad. We need more people learning the joys of "throwing your own."

I understand completely. It's an extremely nice gift and has gone to a good home,I'm sure. Maybe ask around locally, gunstores, clubs, etc for anyone interested in the craft. Who knows, you might find someone who could use one or two items.... AND,make anew friend. Cool story, thanks for sharing.

Not to many new reloaders here.
All the old one already have most of the tools they need.
Working on making a flier to post at the range.
Not real good at this computer thing.
Might be easier to just write it out.
But only I can read my hand writing.

I know a guy named George that might be able to help you....
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? (Sgt. Oddball, KELLY'S HEROES)
