You would leave the shot turned off and after you seated the wad you'd put the slug in the hull by hand, then proceed to Pre-Crimp, Finish Crimp , and Post Crimp.

The last station the Post Crimp Station puts a nice radius on the front of the completed Shell which helps feeding in pumps and autoloaders and give the shell a nice finished look.

I had some time to play with it today.
    Cleaned and lubed.
Had to reshape the ramp for the wad holder.
Adjusted the dies the best I can.
    Made one dummy empties,
    It seems like it's working.
Need to get some powder/shot bushings.
Primers I can feed by hand.
Any suggestions on a load to start with????

What loads you start with hinges with what hulls you have. Then the wads and primers and then the powder(s).

Then load manual you have and it’s recipes.

Loading shotshell is the mirror opposite of loading metallics in some ways.

You need a recipe (published load) that coincides with the components you have and/or can acquire.

    Substitutions highly not recommended!

I bought one many years ago when I did alot of bird hunting. An excellent machine! I haven't used it in years after I took up hi power bullseye rifle competition and now BPCR Silhouette.
