    SPG tropical

Was ordering some more lube from SPG and I see he has a "tropical" blend. Ordered some it and it arrived yesterday. Kind of late for this season but next summer I am going to switch over to it. I have always gotten great results with the regular lube but this promises to be a little harder when it gets hot. Anyone else try it?

I purchase some on Randy Wrights suggestion..Main purpose was for lube wads in black powder loads. I measured out weight of lube on electric scale & melted in small round pan in dbl. boiler set-up...lube left to harden...you can get a pretty accurate lube thickness using this method..if water level is kept uniform..this if you are using a tapered sided pan. Anyway, I cut these out with wad punch & lube firmness is such that I can fill a small container with them and pick them out with fingers without having them stick to each other. Time of use was near fall so will have to wait for hot weather to see if they hold up..but Randy lives in AZ and he says they don't stick.

I got some as a door prize at a match and have not used it.
Is this a solution to a melting problem some of you are having?

I have not run into any kind of problem of this nature using my regular lube. So far, with the melting temperature being someplace around 140 (guessing) or 175F maybe, I have not wanted to even be outside in the sun when it is that hot.
