Hey everyone- Looking for a 25-20 bullet mold. Had a Winchester 92 re-lined and the 1:14 isn't liking the commercial 85 gr. period! Not looking to spend a fortune, a single cavity would be sufficient.
Thanks in advance!

Giving your Post a bump to the top and a thought for you to consider.
Hope someone offers a mould but if not and you decide to buy, I swear by the Lyman 257420. Cast of Linotype, gas checked, and lubed with liquid alox ... it shoots like dream in my Winchester Model 92. Far more accurate than required for Cowboy Action Shooting and surprisingly good for lever action silhouette matches. For some reason, my Model 92 shoots 86 grain jacketed bullets okay but most definitely does not like 86 grain cast bullets ... go figger!
Most of my bullet moulds are from Lee Precision but I checked their website to verify that they do not offer a 25 caliber mound.
Good luck and good shooting!

25720 single cavity for $45.00 shipped
Could you please put some specifics down on it? I am completely in the dark. Grain weight and shape. The descriptions I am finding are varying in weight size. My 92 is a 1:14 twist that I FINALLY got to shoot with 60 grain hornady flat points. I would love a picture or two as well.
Thanks!
Bill
Is it one of the "adjustable molds?"
I have 2 25720 molds. One is a single cavity 67 grain flat nose plain base.
The second 25720 is a96 grain flat point single cavity plain base. Both molds are Ideal molds and are in fantastic condition.. I dont know why they have the same number. $45.00 for each. Money back guarantee.

I'll take the 67 grain 25720 mold if it's still available.
Noe makes 25 caliber molds

Tom at Accurate molds has some plus will make one to your configuration if you want.
Which is better .258" or .257" Specs say .258 but molds are .257"?
The 67 Grain is the one I would want. DGV, it's your call on whom to sell it to. You did offer to me, I countered with a question or two. You clarified and had a "take it" prior to my response now. Should you wish to sell it to debass I won't be offended. Please let me know though as I wouldn't mind trying that mold for the 25-20 and would have payment headed your way tomorrow.
Thank you!

PM Replied to. Thank you!
Zingger. Glad you got it. Enjoy the mould.
Bullet Mold Found- Thank you all for the responses!
I started working on a swaging die this morning. Patterning it after the Lyman 257420 mold. Going to make the bullets .258" with 11-12 bhn lead and of course powder coat...no gas check. It will take a week or so before I have some bullets.
Several of the more popular Ideal moulds were in the “Perfection” series, each of which was nose pour with an adjustable base plug on a screw so you could get several different weights of the same bullet by simply running the plug up or down. They also made fixed cavity versions of some of the more popular weights of some of the more popular patterns... it was just a matter of running the cherry at the right depth. These would have the same number (the cherry) but would sometimes be marked with the nominal weight. I have a 31952 that is a long one, marked 200 gr. Wish it were one of the adjustables!
