    WTT; Wheelweight Ingots for Shot

I have access to a large quantity of wheelweight metal that dates back to late 1970s-early 1980s. There is virtually no chance of there being any of the dreaded zinc in this stuff.

It is my understanding that this is the preferred feedstock for shotmaking. The problem is that I don't have a shotmaker or any access to one.

Am hoping someone who makes shot would be interested in trading 2-300 pounds of shot for a negotiable amount of prime feed stock. Freight is the big expense so I would prefer a road trip to having to pack/ship many hundred pounds of metal. Should be somewhere around a three hour drive from Burlington, Vermont area. That takes in Albany & upstate NY, MA, northern CT, NH & southern ME.

Alan, I would be too far from you for a road trip, but I do trade finished shot for lead ingots. I trade 50 lbs. of shot for 100 lbs. of lead considering that shotmaking is time consuming and energy consuming. I can put 50-55 pounds of shot in a MFRB if that helps.
