Well...it's become that time. My daughter is about to make me a Pappy again for the second time. Her water broke at 3pm today and they are at the hospital now...but still not quite there.
Please pray for an easy speedy delivery. I may be offline for 24 hours or so....but I'll post back when the little girl is here.

My wife was an OB Hospital RNC for forty years 'til she retired; the joys of new babies is always awesome! We were blessed with two sons, and as if it were yesterday I still happily recall the joy in each's birth. Our prayers, and best wishes, are for your daughter, you, and her family! Our OB doctor (this before imaging where they now can tell 100% accurate) would always tell pre-delivery parents, "It will be a girl." At a hospital Christmas employee party several years later I inquired if he always suggested it be a girl, and his answer? "Yes! If it IS a girl, they pat me on the back for being correct; if it's a boy, they're so happy they're not even troubled at all"

Thank you all...Mom and Baby are doing well. Dad's holding up too.
Mimi and Pappy....well...we're doing pretty good too...we have our other Grand. We'll be taking him to the hospital to meet his sister in about an hour. He gets to meet her first before the rest of us.
Savannah Beth...born at 3:17 - 8 lbs 5 oz and 18.5" long.
