    1886 Uberti hunter lite

I know it is not straight stock , and it has a short barrel , but for the price it was I had to put a bid on it and I guess no one else wanted it , so today it arrived and now it is home where it belongs . Now to put a peep sight on it and take it for a test run or two

It is , trying to find my stash of 45-70 , not sure how or why the dealer had it so low , new gun , he said it had marks from handling as a display rifle but I see only one very small dent .

How low of a price was it compared to new retail? Maybe something inside is wrong? Maybe just a good luck buy

799 free shipping brand new , and these come with a 5 year warranty , so will have to shoot it to see if there is any thing out of sorts , I looked them up on other sales and online stores , only reason I bid on it was it was so low , actually hoped someone would bid it higher so I would not win .

That's a winner in my book. What does a "lite" 1886 actually weigh?

Nice buy. The picture is a bit small on my iPhone but it looks nice from what I can see.

Uberti says 7.1 lbs my scales say 8 and next time 7.4 so somewhere in there , it is this sites fault you see as they had the thread on full magazine length or half and that got me riled up and looking on gunbroker , and like a lot of others here molds and reloading tools and firearms tend to accumulate .
