Seating Die with cast bullet issues?

I have a lee speed loader with lee dies for a 44 mag The issue I am having the bullet is not sliding up through the crimp in the die. It is catching the bullet and pressing it down too far in the case. The die works fine with factory bullets. The cast bullets are .432

I had a similar problem with a Lee seater and 6.5mm bullets. It would size down my noses. It wasnt a seat and crimp die though. I just polished the inside of the die enough to where it would stop.

I am not understanding exactly what Lee tools you have?
You mention "speed", are you using Lee's Speed Dies?

If so, you will probably have to hone out the die body, but it will be a tricky endeavor, due to it having internal threads on each end.

Pretty much all factory seating dies are set up for for jacketed bullets.
I've had to hone out a lot of dies to be able to seat oversized boolits.
I have also used larger seating dies of different calibers to seat over-
    sized boolits.

What did you use to fix your die? If you hone the die out will that affect the crimp. Could I use 45 long Colt to seat the 44m and crimp it???

I have experienced the same "problem". As leadhead pointed out, most seating dies are cut for jacketed bullets and when using "oversize" cast bullets the crimp portion ID is pushing against the bullet. A die designed to seat and crimp a .429" bullet is prolly too small ID for a .432" bullet. I backed off the die until the crimp clears the case and bullet and used a dedicated profile crimp die separately. Lee also makes a collet crimp die for 44 Magnum which is an excellent tool and no pushing oversize bullets...

I load .44 special with .432 dia cast and can seat them and crimp
in my RCBS seating die..... Might want to try a RCBS seating die.

Seating Die with cast bullet issues?

I use Lyman dies and they come with different seating stems for different bullet profiles.
