    WTTF real Blackpowder

It’s not available locally and I don’t want to spend $40/lb. by the time I order it and pay shipping and hazmat. I’m only feeding a .54 pistol so a lb. lasts a LONG time.
If any local North Central Texas member would indulge me, I will trade two pounds of smokeless for one pound of 2F or 3F Black. PM me if interested! Thanks for listening,
    TbG
P.S. I should add that I'm an hour NW of D/FW and meeting in FW is peferable.....

I don't understand the logic of not wanting to spend $40 for a pound of black powder but being willing to trade 2 pounds of smokeless powder that will cost more than $40 dollars and have to work out the details of an in person exchange.

Nope. No logic. Except that I inherited the smokeless powder so I have nothing tied up in it. Thanks for your concern, though.
    Are you located nearby?

Thanks. Dealers around here tell me there’s not enough demand for them to buy it to resell. Even the gouge palaces around the Metroplex that have everything- don’t carry holy black.
I have pyrodex and I’ve used it for years but I want the real thing to teach my son how to manage this pistol and if he has a son to pass that on.
    Fingers crossed......

Thanks for the offer. Apparently there’s not enough demand around here for the stores( even BPS/ Cabela’s) to carry it. I’ve used pyrodex for years but the real stuff is better I think.....

Might give Basspro in Grapevine a call. They carry Goex but it’s not on the shelves, you have to ask for it and then they go get it in the back. I always call ahead so I don’t waste a trip.

Make your own! It's easy to do and a lot of fun too! Instructions on the tube. I make black powder for my cannons about once or twice a year. Check it out.
