I was at a show today and one of the vendors had 1x fired 30-06 HXP brass for .20 per case.
Seemed high to me, but I am not up on my brass pricing. What do you guys think?

8 in the 10 ring, then I get a PING. Love my Garand.
That's a good price. You should buy it all. HXP is good brass.

I don't know about the price as my HXP was given to me. It is good brass, if you didn't already know that. I used it to form 9 X 57 Mauser and 7 X 64 Brenneke.

Yes, good price. I have used it to form 8x57 mauser brass. Very good brass. james
Typically $0.15 around me and on another forum I frequent but still a decent price. HXP is my favorite. Easy primer crimp to remove and good case life especially with casts.
I have a bucket load of .303 HXP from years ago. Great brass.
CMP was selling HXP 30-06 Garand ammo at one time. I bought a couple of cans and am still using the brass. Like they said... it’s good stuff!

I bought two spam cans of .30-'06 Greek ammo from the CMP. Not only did it all function and shoot well in my Garand, but I found it to be a pleasure to load. I reserve my stash of HXP, however, for our hi-power competition league, using Sierra match J-bullets. Also, before a third reload, they get annealed with my Giraud annealer. The brass I have is exceptionally good, such that I have nine to twelve loadings on most, with promising looks to still be good for more. (Fyi, I use CCI #34 primers; powder is IMR4895.)
I'd not cog too long before I snapped up some HXP at that price. My only question -- with any and all already fired brass -- is analogous to the car salesman telling me about the lady who only drove the car once a week, to and from church and similar tales. E.g., while some folks do buy new ammunition and have no interest in retaining their fired rounds, at least in my area there are generally reloaders galore in queue to get some in their hands. Then again, it may have come from a range where disposal after initial firing is the norm?
That being said -- again -- if in fact it is "1X" -- I'd say it's quite the deal!

I find it easier to work with than LC with the 5% off center flash holes. HXP had no off center flash holes in my experience.
I'm fond of it, too.
Another vote for the HXP brass from me, I have loaded it for my model 70 and my Garand.
I have a couple of 30 cal ammo cans of the Greek stuff from CMP as well. As others have said reloads great. I've been loading up hunting rounds using that brass. A++.
