    Herters Inc Die not sure what it is used for

    I have a Herters Inc. Waseca, Minn I've had this die? for years never knew what it was for cleaning out a drawer in the reloading area and found it stashed away Attachment 247884Attachment 247885any information would be appreciated.

    That is a straight line seating die. C-H made it and it works well.

    Pressman thanks for the info I just took it apart a the part that slides up has 308 win stamped on it so I'll have to try it the next time I load up some 308 ammo

    will also work for 30-06....I've been using that same die since the late 60's
    mine has a sliding sleeve which helps guide the bullet. I did not see that on yours

    It should work on any 30 caliber rifle case. I may try it with 7.5 Schmitt Rubin, when I find a die set.
