For the shell holder 38 super works. It can also be used as a gage when turning rims.

Thanks for the old thread, looks a lot easier, and SAFER, using a slave guide rod instead of a piece of cord and having to keep a piece of kinked up spring from wanting out of there Badly. I'm going to make a fitted block of wood to hold the action open when you remove the slave rod, and insert the threaded rod.
As for a shell holder, I found that one for a .30 Rem work well, I think its RCBS #19

Remember, the buffer(s) and spring work as a single unit. If the spring is old and weak, the buffers will get beat up badly.

    I do not have a Winchester .351, but I do have a .348 Model 71.
.350 sizers do not grow on trees. Custom is costly.

What I did initially was buy a .338 LEE push though body, a 9 mm push-rod, from Titan Reloading for less than 30 dollars shipped. Then I polished the body out to .350, using fine crocus cloth, 400 & 600 grit sand paper, a piece of 1/4 inch dowel, and an electric drill. I turned down the 9 MM stem using a file and sand paper. IIRC the stem took but a few minutes, as there was only a few 1,000th's to be removed, while it took me a couple of hours over two days to do the body. Were I to do it again, I would start with coarser sand paper, to remove metal faster, then change over to the finer grits as I started to get closer to the size I wanted. I used some 9 mm cast boolits to start checking the size once my .348 stem would fit. I already had an micrometer for fine measurements.
You can easily size 358-429 boolits down in a single pass. I've shot several hundred to date.

    Good luck whatever you choose.

Gosh guys you can buy a Brand New .350 Legend and have the same thing.

Oh, the Winchester was built over 100 years ago, and is a much cooler gun.

    Maybe nothing is new.?
