    Went to yard sale

Went to a yard sale last weekend and this guy had some 1lb lead bars there for sale that he wanted $1/lb. this stuff was hard! I thought for sure there was zinc in it. So I was gonna pass on it. I bought a few other things and he threw in 5 lead ingots. I work in a melt shop and took the ingots to work and had the lab test them image my surprise when the lab reported 26% sb 12% sb remainder pb and no zinc. I will be heading back for the rest of it

Close enough to call it foundry type. Did they check for copper?

Old school foundry type would run to 3%. Yours appears to be more user friendly. Your alloy would be great for alloying some high velocity rifle ammo.
