I have the Cdn. version of the PCC with the 18.5" barrel. I use Montana Gold 125gr FMJ and Lyman 356402 TC lead bullets. Should I be looking for a fast powder (Bullseye, 700X, Clays, Titegroup) or a slower powder (231, Unique, HS-6, 800X ) to take advantage of the longer barrel. What do you use?

I use hp38 or 231 and it works great.

That is all I tested so far. I am looking to see if there is a known preference Fast vs Mid to Slow range powders in longer barrels. Both of the above work well. I have not shot any lead bullets over my Chrony yet. Running low on primers right now so I figured I might save some time in testing A lot of my old friends on this Forum are now shooting on Heavens Range now so I can't talk to them directly.
