    BLM camping in Wyoming

Anyone have suggestions for where to truck/tent camp in Wyoming on public land?

Wyoming's awful big, got a more specific area in mind like yellowstone area or eastern area or? might find a member from here that would let you camp on their property, you could stay here if you wanted to drive a little to hunt up there.

Love the Medicine Bow Range West of Laramie. Backpacked near Big Sandy Lake in the Wind River Range. Lots of gorgeous country !

In the Late 80s and early 90s, I tent camped below Black Mountain lookout (3 times). I have no idea what that area is like now, but it was wonderful camping then. It's up from Dayton on Hwy 14. Then a few miles on gravel (16). There are some spots to camp near a small creek, with fish Elk hunters will use it as a base camp.

There is a lot of public land in Wyoming. Camping this late in the year plan on frosty mornings.
I love the Wyoming range. Snyder basin. Horse creek. Middle Piney. I lived in Big Piney for 15 years and spent every spare weekend in the winter snowmobiling these areas. I camped a lot around Middle Piney.
