    Stevens 325 3030 deer load?

Got a Stevens 3325 b in 3030 topped with a Leopold 4x compact scope. Question is, very accurate load is a Lee c309 170 f gas checked boolit and 22 grains of IMR 4198. The boolit is 50/50 clip on wheel weights, pure lead. What are thought on this setup and load for whitetails and bear in Vermont? Especially thoughts on the boolit load in 3030. Thanks, Craig.

If you put that boolit in the boiler room of anything hunt able in Vt and you will be needing freezer space.

yep, take it out and fill up that freezer!!!!!!

i use a 165gr ranch dog(173gr actual) with 25.5gr of h4198 going 1930fps avg in my 30-40 krag and it kills deer drt. my son has shot deer out to 173 yards(laser range finder). i hunt close cover deer and they all drop.
