I have handgun hunted for deer since 'bout '74-75. Started using a TC Scout a little over 25 years ago. I've got all three barrels, but usually hunt with the .50 loaded with 350gr TC Maxi Hunters over 75gr of Pyrodex P. Got a spare receiver with a scope base and pistol scope so I can go either way quite easily. Shoots lights out and puts the smack down on'em.

I really like my CVA Optima .50 cal. Black Powder Pistol. Accurate, well built, fun to shoot, and no FFL.

I built a .45 Derringer from a kit. Sights are rudimentary, but it's meant to stick in someone's ribs. With a .440 patched round ball and a charge of IIF, it is quite a powerful little gun.
