    Swaging .348" Bullets?

I have a single shot .348 Win. Every commercially made bullet has a flat point made for the Win 71 levergun. Any here making .348 bullets with a spire point or pointed soft point?

    Thanks, Dinny

    I've thought if I ever did get a 348 I would size my 358 bullets to 348. I have a 4S 358 die.

    Gew,
Thanks for the reply! A 4S .348 would be perfect.

    Thanks, Dinny

HawkBullets makes some jacketed spitzer bullets in .348, Hornady also makes a spitzer with the 'gummy' point that also works in the leverguns.

I'm aware. I have the 200gr FTXs, just wish for something heavier and bonded that doesn't break the bank, if that's possible.

    Thanks, Dinny

That's an option when I run out of cast boolits.

    Thanks, Dinny

Hawk Bullets will make custom weight bullets and does list a 270 grain spitzer. They would probably go to 300 or 325 grain in the .348 spitzer. Many of the custom mold makers require a fair sized flat nose for most customer designs, just the nature of boring a bullet mold with CNC and a boring bar.
