Techniques for lubing concave bottom boolits

In the case of my .455 Webley. How do/would you lube this bullet? It has all of a 1/4 inch concave bottom.
I've pan lubed by arranging them in the pan, then pour in melted lube. I still get a lot of lube into the bottom. I've used my lube tool with stick lube and still get the same results.
The bullet shown is what I use as my sizing and weight example, it's seen better days.

The Star would not be a problem. Finger lube applied to the sides and then push through the Lee bullet size die would also be an option. With the conventional Lyman or RCBS, you might try the foam pad from an egg carton on the top of the push out pin and keep the lube warm and the lube pressure feed light. That might be enough to prevent the lube creeping between the bullet base and the push out pin.

Instructions for your lube tool should be consulted. It will mention to keep the pressure light(er) as well as the method to set the boolit deeper so the lube grooves align with the holes in the lube die. It is a trial and error setting, but only takes a minute or two.

When the pressure is high(er) and the boolit is at some shallow or mid-depth, where the lube grooves do not align with the die holes, lube squeezes out in the route of least resistance - toward the base. It's a quick fix with the lube tool.

Loads for the .455 are very light, only 600 fps so little lube is needed. I just use a light film of Lee Liquid Alox or LSStuff, just enough to turn the bullets a uniform brassy color, no need to fill the grooves or to worry about the hollowbase either.

You take your H&I die and a bullet to a FRIEND who is a machinist,
He will push the I die out of the H die and machine the end of the I die
to exactly fit the concave base of the bullet.
Reassemble the H&I die.
Then size normally on the Lyman or RCBS press
