Anybody Buy a Lee Loader lately?

My lee Loaders, I have eight of them, are used as poor mans hand dies. I don't whack on them with a stick or a hammer. Instead, I use my harbor Freight arbor press and yes, I lube the cases as with press mounted dies. The loaders make very concentric cases. Although 95% of my loading is done using a press and dies it's fun to put some rounds together using the Lee loaders. Gp

I'm glad you mention that. I have the same arbor press. Looks like it's time to dig it out again.
Anybody have any idea how many Lee Loaders they sell these days?
Seems like a lot of us got our start that way.

I started reloading with a .243 Lee Loader, I own one for each caliber I reload (9mm, 45ACP, 223, 243,308). I still reload my .243 with it, don’t even own .243 dies. Granted I shoot maybe 20 rounds of .243 per year.

When we go camping in Colorado for two weeks I bring the Lee Loaders, some basic supplies and crank out a few hundred rounds.

I couldn’t imagine trying to FL size with one, it’s hard enough to FL size on the Lee hand press.

All of my Lee Loaders were bought new in the last 7yrs. Want to pick up a Lee Loader for 12ga one day.

The sizing step with a Lee Loader can be done in a vise. It's better than beating on them.

The whole point of a lee loader, least in my mind, is to take it outdoors, away from access to a press or vise.

Loaded my first rounds of .30-06 and .45 Auto with Dad on those things. Broke out the .45 one after about a 25 year hiatus to get some nostalgia. That lasted about an hour - ALL HAIL MIKE DILLON!
