Back in the 90's I got a Ruger gov. model MkII and someplace I got a bunch of PMC sidewinders. The bullets looked like you dipped them in lard, yes that greasy, but did that Ruger love it. It really showed me it was a whole lot better than I was. I tried some match ammo as a comparison and IIRC the PMC was equal to the match. At least with me yanking the trigger

I've often wondered if one could improve .22 ammo by dipping the boolit in LLA. My centerfires sure like this treatment!
    Currently casting and loading: .32 Auto, .380 Auto, .38 Special, 9X19, .357 Magnum, .257 Roberts, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30 WCF, .308 WCF.

Anyone know what lube is on the golden bullets? It leaves a gold dust in the bottom of the box/bucket.

Seeing how Natchez won’t sell to GA residents, I can’t buy from them, but cheap 22 ammo is finally back. I’ve been stocking up where I can.

I don't believe they are lubed at all. Remington states the bullets are plated.
The dust you are seeing is from the plating rubbing of due to friction with the other bullets.
I have seen a copper smear on the feed ramp of a couple of my 9mm barrels from using plated ammo. The same type of thing is probably happening with the Golden Bullets.
