Bullseye or Unique under round ball to 255 swc or round nose.

Mild to Wild, I have not my best results with any of those, If I wanted mild results I would probably use the 800x of what you have listed, but for me WW231, unique, or reddot are what I use for mild. For standing on em, 2400 HS-6 or full bore H-110 are my best powders in my favorite caliber!

I've commented before on this thread. I won't vote wrong powder listed in my opinion. I grew up hearing the old man saying that Unique was a good powder and somehow that stuck in my mind. I like Unique and Red Dot for 45LC loads.

I've been using Unique. 9.0 dropped a buck in its tracks at 40 yards, but I think I should get better accuracy than I do. I'll be trying other powders this coming summer; Bullseye/promo/red dot/4227/RL7. Looking for best accuracy with hunting load velocity.

My 1939 (last year of production) Colt New Service .45 Colt likes the Lyman 454424 at 925 fps using Unique. My normal everyday load. For deer I prefer the RCBS 270 SAA at 915 fps using Lil'Gun. Both are accurate in the .454 bore New Service.

Never used any of the ones you list so I didn't vote & can't add to the conversation.

I've tried a variety, but gotten my best accuracy with IMR 4227, which isn't on the list...

What he said /\ I have been through the same thing trying to reduce the powders I have and don't use.
Sometimes you find something that works good.

Ok, no Linebaugh loads. I would use unique it's the most useful.

This powder isn't as clean or efficient as some but it is a tack driver.

I bet you could put five grains of any one or all in a .45 Colt case under that bullet and it would shoot the bullet out of the barrel.
Just for fun, why don't you try that and let us know the results .
Then, you'll know and we'll know.
