    WTB brass roll sizer

want to start getting serious reloading 223/5.56 and need to acquire a roll sizer to do a better job on the brass, figured I would start here before I look at new.

This is new to me. Does this eliminate the need to use the sizing die?

Rifle brass will give you case head separations. Seen it from a commercial reloader years ago.

not really. on some guns like 9mm and 223 the chambers can be all over the place and a regular sizing die only sizes down to about the last 1/2 inch and thats were the bulge is when you have a sloppy chamber, then when you try to reuse the brass in a different chamber it wont always chamber or it sticks, which is a real problem with semi autos. the roll sizer takes the whole case back to sammi specs and allows the brass to chamber in everything just like new ammo. ever hear of the "glock" bulge.

They also fix any dings on the rim that can’t be fixed with normal sizing process, you do still have to use a regular size die though.

FWIW they won’t stop case head separations because that’s caused by a chamber that is too large for brass that is sized too much. Causes the brass to be drawn out, you can tell as you have to trim a lot off every time you size, it gets thin and then separates.
