    Vetterli

    I picked up an 1871 Vetterli, the double set trigger type,
    could not get the triggers to set, stripped stock off and the small spring which keeps the trigger set back is snapped of,
    any ideas where I might get one, or is the spring in the single trigger set up the same,
    any info gratefully received,

    If it is the leaf spring for the front trigger return you wlll have to make one from spring stock or an old band saw blade. Try Tack of the wolf for a spring that looks close that you can modify by wet grinding.
