    Yep ! Pickled sausage

    These were made two months ago today and been in the refrigerator . Time to eat em !

    You are killing me! I would to eat one of those sausages but my kidney doc would string me up!

    Looks good.
    I discovered that concept a few years ago.

    I put hot dogs in garlic & vinegar with a bump of salt, and store them in the refrigerator for a week or two.
    I use them for catfish bait.
    One time I was out fishing, got hungry, and ate one...… then, I ate the rest of them.
    In school: We learn lessons, and are given tests.
    In life: We are given tests, and learn lessons.

    Winger Ed, that sounds like something I'd be likely to do! ;^) And Charlie, I've had to change my diet, quit smoking, and behave myself like a good boy ought'a. I'm wailin', too, just like bikerbeans. But I'm getting better at enjoying a vicarious thrill. Eat one for me too, will ya'?

    Yep ! Age does catch up to us ! To adapt and overcome at an advanced age ain't as easy as it was half a century ago . Rest assured there are a few of those pickled sausage I'll eat for you .

    You know yours is a good question ! Two jars are skinless and two in casings . First time I ever used the skinless type sausage . Honestly they both are fine but the skinless ones are a lot 'softer' . I like ones in casing as far as texture goes .
