    Need 9.3. X 72 Rimmed loads

    Hi!
Have combination gun (Merkel 16b. / 9.3X72R); dies, brass (RWS & S&B), Hawk bullets and cast bullets
    Need powder and suggested loads?
Anyone here shooting a drilling or combination with this rifle cartridge???
    Thanks!

The "Handloaders Manual of Cartridge Conversions" lists the 9.3x72R cartridge with a 193 grain bullet and 39.0 grains of Ball C2, but you should likely consider that a maximum load and start lower and work up. If you have some loaded S&B ammo and not just empty brass you should probably chronograph some of the factory loads to get some idea of their factory velocities.
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

Google the S&B website, IIRC they list velocity of their 193(?) gr bullet at around 2000 fps.
