    O-rings for Lyman 450 Lube/sizer?

Took my Lyman 450 apart today to troubleshoot lube leakage. Found that the 3 internal O rings had deteriorated and were letting lube squirt up past the plunger and also out the bottom. Have searched Lyman, Brownell's, and several other web sites for them and can't find any. Does anyone know if the newer 4500 model's O rings will fit the earlier 450?

I've replaced ones on my RCBS with the 50 cent ones on the display board at the hardware store.

I couldn't find just the perfect one, but using one a little on the fat and smaller side works out when you stretch it to fit.

The green viton ones last longer and handle higher pressure without leaking. They also take heat better if you use a heater. They run $0.15-.30 each at any auto parts store. Usually they are green, but sometimes high temp ones will be red.

I have a bag full of square o-rings, that fit the bottom plug of the Lyman 450.

PM me your info if you're in need of a couple of these.

for the record, the green viton O rings have also held up better in my 11-87 and 1100 LT 20 gauge than the stock remington rings.

I did the same thing , I figured I had better get the rebuild and update kit now, while Lyman still had them . Usually I wait untill something breaks .... then when that happens I try to order the part and usually run into the "Part Discontinued and/or Unavailable " .
So now I've got all the new replacement parts just waiting ...how much you wanna bet nothing on that 450 ever breaks !

Hi Scott: Yes I could use a couple of the square O-rings for the bottom plug for the Lyman 450. Have sent you a P.M. Thanks, Rick
