    Not sure.

Whatever is available, Jeff Bartlett usually has it.
And, he's a good guy to deal with.

Suspect the supply of surplus 30 cal is drying up, except for 7.62 MG ammo and small amounts for sniper rifles the military is using 5.56 for rifles and the SAW. The original M2 150 gr 30 cal dried up years ago and the 147 gr BT for the 7.62 is getting scarce, and prices are approaching bulk commercial bullets.

Not surprised. When everyone hoards, supply drops and prices rise. Economics 101.

Last year, I got 1K pulled M118 from Rocky Mountain Reloaders at a decent price but haven't seen any since. Right now, looks like all they've got is some 55 gr. .223 stuff.

Not sure, I can remember the dcm / cmp having 147 grn, 173 grn, 55 fmj and 63grn in ammo cans by the pallet. At one time they had pulled 168 HPBT sierra match kings by the 1000 count. One year I bought 142 grn Berger vlds by the 500 count bulk tub ( surplus from some amu project). There was various brass there both new and once fired. Most clubs with a high power program could by 173 special ball and 852 match at a reduced price also. 22 rimfire for JR programs was dirt cheap from them. One year I ran across 1500 sierra 168 sierra match internationals ( the predecessor to the matchking). Most gun shows had venders selling pulled bullets in many different calibers weights styles. One of the last I seen were 30 cal carbine bullets. Im not sure if they are being destroyed or if the supply is just drying up now after many years drain on it. Like the O3s, garands and carbines are slowing getting harder to find a good one. The AR as been the battle rifle for many years now not near as much call for 30 cal bullets and ammo as there was.
You might check with Pats, Jeff Bartlett, sarco, numeric, fulton armory and there was one that started with an A I cant remember the name of.

I remember when Sierra Bullets was still in Santa Fe Springs, CA

I would stop by once a week, whatever that had rejected from the last weeks Production, could be had for $1.00 a pound. Still got about 200 .308 - 200gr Spitzers. They were almost cheaper then a dozen donuts, bring your own bucket free COWW.

Me too. We lived in South Whittier when I was in Grad School. Short drive up the street. Shot at South Coast Gun Club, no longer in existence. I could put five of those .25 blems into less than an inch, one group on each corner of a square bull at 100 yds with my 25-06.

Walks, for many years I lived about a mile from Sierra and I knew a young lady that worked in the office. I would call her and tell her to have a certain amount of .357 or 44 cal for me. I would stop by on the way home and pick it up. I still have a lot of those bullets.

I wish there was some surplus ball 762 myself. But the military hasn't used them in years and my guess is most of them are in dirt banks. When you do see them the sellers are just a lot more proud of them then they were 10 years ago. Not much cheaper then cup and core factory bullets.

My experience is if you obtain some of these, your order will be about 5% short, that's what I found with the 9mm bullets. Factor that in when you bid. Expect a few defective ones, maybe even a few oddballs that don't belong that are a different weight, hopefully not a different diameter.

I'm sure we've all heard that one.
