The replacement rear action screw from numrich is too short for my Spanish mauser. It was one of their repros. What is the correct length (The repro is short by 2 or 3mm and only catches the first 2 threads) and where can I find one?

Of course I'm driving 80 miles an hour and looking at this at the same time, but it looks like your bottom metal is not in place correctly the bow of the trigger should be inside of the guard? My 1916 is at a friend's house so I can't really look at it to give you any help.

Yep - it looks like the rear of the magazine well is limiting the TG/bottom metal from seating all the way "up".
It's fairly easy to overlook full seating of the magazine well into the recess in the bottom of the action.

While the actions out of the stock, remove both guard screws and keep reseating the TG until the rear guard screw enters the upper tang threads fully.

The trigger guard/nag housing is flush with the bottom of the receiver. I will take more pics when I have a chance.

Try a hardware store/ we have one that caries gun screws. It is a ACE Hardware in KCK
take a little off the top of the magazine. The trigger doesn't look like it is thru the hole in the trigger guard far enough. I can't see if the top of the magazine is touching the bottom of the receiver

I'm not sure what Mauser model these came from but they are non locking head. Lots of Mausers over the years but none at the house currently. Let me know if you need one of these.

I just noticed that’s not an original trigger guard, is it? Don’t 1893/1916’s either have the side button release or the non hinged bullet release floor plate?
It was one of the 2 that came with it and both are the same, my friend had the side button type and had the same issue. He retapped his and used an Allen bolt. His was bought to be a 4wheeler/truck gun so restoration was low on the list(he has at least a dozen mausers that are far nicer).
