    Good work with the heavy hitter MaLar. I'm so sold on powder coating I even PC my buck shot. My heavy hitters these days are shotguns, slugs and buck. Some of the heavy slugs have 1 1/2 the knockdown power of the 458mag. Gp

    I have a friend who is powder coating , he did a bunch of hard cast .50 grain .22’s for me to use in
    The .223 and .222’s for dispatching animals in snares and for rabbits and grouse on the trapline .
    Haven’t tried them yet but they look promising .
    We also discussed PC bullets fir my 8.25x46R Haenel schuetzen rifle , which should be a pile of fun if it works out!

    Same here,I actually had almost stopped casting and moved to smaller bores/j-bullets.

    I then read about coatings,tried and my casting started again. Especially for bigger bores. I now enjoy casting more than ever before. I buy better molds and explore new calibers just to cast for. .

    Oh,and to the OP: way to go,big is good!
