    Howard Leight replacement ear pads

    Model is Pro Sports.
The ear pad are all hard. They didn't last to long.
There are so many different replacements.
Some cost more then the ear muffs.
Anyone recommend a reasonably priced replacement???

Check Ebay, that is where I got replacements.

I don't want to replace them with the same thing.
The ear pads didn't last a year before they got hard.
How they hurt to have them on.
Looking for something better made, thicker, and softer.

    I got these from amazon.

    Cheap.
    Really soft and thick.
I'll have to cut the backing plate off the old pads, and glue these on, but I think it will work.

Glue dried, so I tried them while watching TV.
Couldn't hear anything. Just a little muffle noise.
They are very soft, thicker than the old ones, a little heavier.
    Feels great.
Might be working a little to good.
    Almost no sound coming in.

Something I really dislike about the Leight protector is they rub on my collar, and that is louder than the shots.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

    I tried them today.
    They felt great.
    Didn't notice the extra weight.
Kept lots of the sound out, but I could still hear someone talking.
So far I'm happy with them.
