AR 15 m lock rail covers need advice

Well after almost a month inthe hospital I got my AR parts all assembled . This is the first time I ever had a alum free float handguard it's an M lock with the holes at 3,6,9 in an octagon shape shape . It's a lot skinnier than I care for . What I'm looking for is some grippy covers that would use the m loc holes . Like I said don't know a lot about this modern stuff always had regular hand guards . What options do I have ?

    Thanks .Tim

They let you assemble an AR in the Hospital ? (Sorry I couldn't resist)

Ive not noticed hand guards for M-lok or keymod hand guards, tho I do prefer M-lok I went with round guards to reduce some weight. The only advice I can offer is "Google".

Look at magpul, they have covers that cover 6 M loc slots at a time or one slot at a time.

Ive not noticed hand guard "COVERS" for M-lok or keymod, is what I meant to say. Boy I really flubbed that one. I did go to that first link and typed in "M-Lok Covers" and was rewarded with two options in the first line of hits. 3$ ea. for 4" of plastic don't exite me, but it might be just what you're looking for. Magpul has different options. Good Luck !

I went with magpul moe mlok rifle length on a build , not a free float but I really like the style and the way it feels , used a gas block with a rail top and bottom , works looks good and feels nice , can not say that about all the different free float handguards I have used .

I use the Magpul Type 1 covers. If you want covers that add more thickness use the Type 2 Magpul covers. The Type 1 covers are soft and the most grippy, type 2 are textured hard plastic like their mags.

I use these https://www.magpul.com/products/m-lo...uctColor=VO343 but if you gun gets knocked around or on the bottom where they might ride on a shooting rest I like to put a drop of jell superglue on the three pieces to keep them together so they don't fall off. I also put a drop between each of the completed sections.
