    Boy did I have a good day 1886,1895,& 1894

I got a call from a friend of mine that works at a local gun shop near me. He says get your *** up here now. I bought a 1886 Takedown in 33WCF with the full length mag made in 1911, AND a shotgun butt Winchester 1895 in 30/40 made in1902. It also has the correct for 1895 climbing Lyman sight AND a Marlin 1894 Takedown in 25/20 with a 26 inch octagon barrel made in 1905. The minus on it is somebody mounted a k2.5 weaver scope on it A LONG time ago. And the price was a steal on the group. So I had a GREAT DAY!
Don’t know how to post pictures or I would.

I went mainly to get the Marlin takedown in 25/20 buuuuut if they are gonna make deals like this. They kept knocking money off of I would take all three. Won’t say an exact figure but all three out the door was less than $2500. How do you say no?

Oww! that would hurt a lot!
At one point long ago I saw a picture of a 50BMG single shot barrel mounted on a 1911 frame. Did it really exist or photoshop dunno. Me shoot it not on your life.

Would not even have to be a takedown to make me happy with that collection!
25-20 and 32-20 are two calibers that Ha have no real use for, but have a hankering to own!
