Praying for your mom and a full recovery. I've noticed that there seems to be a lot of inattention by drivers these days. Sure sorry that it happened to your mom.

She is still in the hospital... Still hurting .... She did walk some yesterday. Mom is week on a good day she isn't a strong 70 year old women this is tough on her but she knows and trust in God

My prayers and best wishes! This brings back memories of 1965 when I was "stood up" by date for a night-long senior class high school function. Ruth's dad stopped at a railroad crossing for an oncoming train, but the (intoxicated) driver behind them did not -- propelling their car, like a billiard ball, directly in front of locomotive. Ruth was killed instantly from impact; it took three days for her dad to pass. The driver's lawyer argued "mechanical brake failure", and word was he didn't even get a single ticket for killing two people...but, again, that was 1965 when driving a bit under the influence was not recognized as it is (thankfully) nowadays.
That your mom is up, now, is truly wonderful! Give her an extra hug?
